HIGHLIGHTS OF DECREE 58/2025 ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF RENEWABLE AND NEW ENERGY POWER
On 03 March 2025, the Government issued Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CP (“Decree 58”) providing detailed guidance on several provisions of the Law on Electricity No. 61/2024/QH15 (“Electricity Law 2024”). KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF DECREE NO. 57/2025 ON THE MECHANISMS FOR DIRECT POWER TRADING BETWEEN RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION ENTITIES AND LARGE ELECTRICITY CONSUMERS
On 03 March 2025, the Government issued Decree No. 57/2025/ND-CP which provides regulations on the mechanisms for direct power trading between renewable energy generation entities and large electricity consumers and took effect from the date of promulgation (“Decree No. 57”). Decree No. 57 officially repeals Decree No. 80/2024/ND-CP dated 03 July 2024 (“Decree No. 80”) on the same matter with the objective of further improving the legal framework for DPPA in Vietnam.

ĐẨY MẠNH PHÂN CẤP THẨM QUYỀN VÀ ĐƠN GIẢN HÓA THỦ TỤC ĐẦU TƯ XÂY DỰNG
Ngày 30/12/2024, Chính phủ đã ban hành Nghị định số 175/2024/NĐ-CP quy định chi tiết một số điều và biện pháp thi hành Luật Xây dựng về quản lý hoạt động xây dựng. Nghị định này thay thế cho Nghị định số 15/2021/NĐ-CP ngày 3/3/2021 của Chính phủ quy định chi tiết một số nội dung về quản lý dự án đầu tư xây dựng (“Nghị định 175/2024”).
