MS. NGUYEN THI TUYET MAI IS A HIGHLY ACCOMPLISHED LAWYER AND AN ACCREDITED COMMERCIAL MEDIATOR, UNIQUELY COMBINING EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE ACROSS BOTH THE PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTORS, FROM DOMESTIC TO INTERNATIONAL PLATFORMS, AND FROM IN-HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL TO INDEPENDENT CONSULTING LAWYER.
Ms. Mai specializes in project finance (public and private), M&A, and joint ventures (JV). She regularly advises lenders, project companies, sponsors, and multinational investment corporations in large-scale, complex, and unprecedented transactions in the Vietnamese market. Her areas of legal practice include complex legal frameworks for offshore wind and seaport infrastructure, compliance in the banking and finance sector, and internal compliance investigations regarding anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABC) for foreign-invested enterprises.
Prior to joining DIMAC, Ms. Mai accumulated extensive experience working at prestigious and international law firms such as Baker & McKenzie, Kinstellar Southeast Asia (formerly Asia Counsel), Rajah & Tann LCT, Indochine Counsel, DFDL, as well as taking on the role of in-house counsel at Sun Life, a major life insurance company. In addition, she has also worked with various international organizations and development agencies on international law and development projects.
